Ankle surgery recovery day 2: nerve block finally wore off last night, pain is only mildly stronger than before surgery. Honestly I thought it would be worse. Up and moving about more today. Need to get used to crutches and stairs while not being allowed to use one leg.

Ankle surgery is all done. Took 2 hours instead of one and apparently there was a fracture found while inside that didn't show up on the X-ray or MRI. At home recovering, the nerve block is still active. Currently my lower leg feels hot, but that's the only thing it feels.
