Any Scottish person voting for these 🤡 really needs to take a good look at themselves in the mirror. Why are you so determined to be ruled by English public school wankers who hate you rather than "take back control"?

I can't help thinking that in the current "a plague on all their houses" political environment, many people who pick Andy Burnham are doing so because he's not an MP and they don't see him much. If/when he becomes an MP and PM he may see his popularity slip. (Not a judgement on any candidate)

To be clear, I don't really think this will happen, but it was a mad thought that entered my head that I decided to write down somewhere so I can look amazing if it ever happens, which it won't.

I was walking the dogs and my mind drifted to a scenario where Streeting, Burnham and Rayner somehow agree a joint ticket to unite all factions like the avengers. Burnham as PM, Streeting and Rayner pick between Chancellor, Deputy PM and Health. I also had a them give Starmer Foreign Office 😂

Don't forget what Reform promised the crypto industry after Farage took the cash: Farage....took an undisclosed £5mn personal gift from a crypto billionaire in 2024, months before pledging to slash tax and regulation on the digital assets industry if he becomes PM

Well, that Express headline was always going to raise a few eyebrows!😳 Starmer is responsible for embracing polygamy to appease Muslims, and so he's increasing their benefits?? That's the implication. After all, this "started in April", right? Wrong! 🧵1/25

On top of the personal donation of £5m, this party funding model feels like another under-reported risk. Has anyone done a deep dive on Reform UK’s corporate structure and financial controls?

The reported £5m personal gift to Nigel Farage from Reform donor Christopher Harborne raises a wider question I don’t think has had nearly enough scrutiny. Not just about Farage personally, but about Reform UK’s unusual corporate structure. A brief thread..

Make Votes Matter

Unless we change the voting system, we will see this at the next general election as well. With votes split across five or more parties, power can be won on as little as 25% of the vote. This needs to be a wake-up call.
