I’m a former grammar/spelling purist who learned how and why that is terrible. However, there are still some words that I hate seeing misused/misspelled, if only because they make me so flipping happy. Ex: your interest has been ‘piqued,’ not ‘peaked.’ Pique is SUCH a great word; please use it. 🥺
