I think about Philando Castille often. He did everything right, he was driving with his family, he was a good man who did food nutrition work for schools. It was a clear cut racist stop and use of his owning of a firearm as a posthoc justification to murder him, and the NRA said nothing about it.

Finally took a moment to create a tribute to my favorite part of #StarfleetAcademy (a show I'm so far liking quite a bit!): Holly Hunter's... unique approach to sitting in the captain's chair.

Ok. So I was wrong and I admit it. i thoroughly enjoyed Starfleet Academy and I am hooked! I would have still liked more alien diversity in the main cast (as far as not all looking humanoid), but the background cast diversity makes up for it. That being said... Where is my Caitlin representation?!

This is a KID. Regardless of his 'status' as an American citizen or not, doing this to a child is INEXCUSABLE. There is no defense for this. (And my son, who is the same age, wondered why I sent him a text warning him ice had been spotted near hai school.)
