I have dreams where I am earnestly and deliberately trying to speak a certain language, because the dream situation requires it.

most often I dream in "the language", which can be my mother tongue or another one, it's just communication. Sometimes when I wake up I I remember specific words or a conversation, that's how I know it can be different languages

One sometimes dreams of speaking languages one does not know when awake . . . and one's dreams occur in a variety of languages (or one remembers them thus). One has woken from dreams and been told one was still sleep-speaking in other languages like Spanish, Italian, Dutch, and German.

I used to dream in German, when I was taking classes in German and reading German regularly, but that was a long time ago.

I am fluent in three, but I only dream in two of them, including my mother tongue.

I used to dream in a mix of Swahili and English when I lived in Tanzania, but haven't in awhile now since I haven't been speaking Swahili on a daily basis anymore

Mostly English, unless speaking in Spanish is a plot element (eg, talking with somebody who only speaks Spanish).

It is!!! Sometimes the dream characters seem like they actually speak the language/s I barely do, but I think my brain is just very adept at misleading me about this 😂

Multiple languages, including ones I barely speak, but usually there is a reason for it each time (e.g., I might dream of trying to speak to someone who is Russian in my very bad Russian). I usually speak to English speakers in English, Hungarian speakers in Hungarian, etc. even in dreams.

Usually in one language, but not always the same. Depends very much on which language I have been reading, listening, or speaking in before going to bed.
