The U.S. Department of Education decided to unfreeze investigations of discrimination complaints at schools across the country, but not for complaints raising race or gender discrimination. Therefore, thousands of race and gender complaints “will continue to sit idle” while children suffer.

A few thoughts as we close out Black History Month.
