It's a revealing moment... J.D. Vance welcomes a two-legged robot helping on the job site. But if that helper is a person named Jose, he calls it a threat. Same tasks, same productivity boost. The inconsistency reveals this isn’t about economics.

I just don’t see how we can pretend even for a moment that anything involving our federal government is remotely normal when the president is covering up his involvement in a child sex trafficking ring. Like, what are we doing here

Call the United States Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121 and they will connect you with your senator's office. If you're represented by one of the squishier centrists, be sure to make a call. Now.

Imagine this. The US president had to be ordered to feed his people. Ordered to help the needy. Ordered to help hungry babies. Ordered. He will not do it willingly. He does not care if we die.

From Lawrence O'Donnell: The Convicted FElon's approval numbers are as low as they were after the J6 insurrection, only 37% approval. The Majority of Americans disapprove of everything that he is doing. The economy, immigration, tariffs, use of ICE & national guard, healthcare & so on.

What exactly is the plan here? The US has no capacity to actually wage a full scale conflict in Venezuela. We have no munitions left to do it. We have no invasion force built up. My best guess is that this will be a hit and run with the expectation that Venezuela will collapse or coup Maduro.

Prescient. This term has, in fact, been magnitudes of order worst than the first. In Trump’s first term we witnessed outrageous talk and sometimes action from Trump. But the guardrails, beaten and battered, mostly held. In this second term there are no guardrails.

It is breathtaking how much of what was painstakingly built up over 250 years has been destroyed in ten months. From the economy to civilian/military relations to our foreign alliances to the DOJ to civil rights and on and on.

This is an especially worrying statement when facial recognition can be inaccurate, biased, and generally make mistakes. Basing whether someone should be in the US or not, and ignoring physical media like a birth certificate, is ripe for disaster

Not for nothing but these are not really the actions of a ruling party that seems particularly concerned with things like future elections. We’ll cross that bridge when we get to it I guess, or we won’t. And that’s the spice of life

The government may be shut down, but Trump is still managing to get some work done in Washington—like illegally demolishing an entire wing of the White House to build himself a ballroom. Lifting a finger to lower your health care costs? Not so much.

OK, so our "Secretary of War" currently has two big priorities: (1) murdering innocent fishermen in the Caribbean, and (2) endangering the lives of commuters in Southern California. Perhaps, we are seeing one of the downsides to having a drunk TV talk show chatterbox running our military.
