Please Don't Rain is starting the year off with a big update! Version 5.20 is rolling out now. The UI of the main forecast has a fresh new look which adjusts much better to some sizes and orientations.

Glad that @joshdholtz.com is no longer making me keep this secret! I’ll be giving an updated rendition of AI (Without the Hype), to account for how much has changed in AI since I gave the talk in… *checks notes* September 2025. And of course I’ll be teaching many evergreen AI lessons as well.

My roommate saw me put more cheese onto a frozen pizza & it was like I unlocked something in him. I saw the wheels turning as he realized we don't have to settle for the default amount of cheese the pizza overlords offer us. What goes onto the frozen pizza is in our control. We have the power.

I finally made it home from #WWDC25 I ended up having ear problems after landing in San Jose and wasn’t able to fly back so… I took a 54 hour train ride from San Jose back to Chicago 😅 I wish I could have been home sooner to see my fam but at least the views were stunning
