Sherlocking: a term first described after Mac OS X 10.2’s “Sherlock” folded in features and functionality from the popular 3rd-party app “Watson.” It’s become commonplace with subsequent OS releases, and we noticed a few lesser examples in iOS, MacOS, and watchOS 26.
