Apparently, someone called Mocha really wanted to play a tournament with Jordan, but Jordan said he couldn't because he'd be playing with Yu and me. So Mocha created fake screenshots from a conversation in DMs to turn Jordan against us and break up our group. That is so shameless 😭

I want to addend this by saying, for most levels of play, as long as your comp has a gameplan your losses are likely due to midgame decisions. Yes, different comps influence the game. No, you aren’t losing on weapon select by going no cooler or going ttek over vshot in Low Ink. #compsplatoon

Now that we have 3rd kits I wish the badge progression was just on all main weapons combined and not kits because it sucks restarting the 10* grind.

I miss the “report score” channel in the LUTI server. Was like checking the newspaper each morning to see the results from last night’s matches.

To say this in the most un-corniest way. The Splatoon Competitive Scene will only "die" if the people choose to allow it to "die". Its up to the people to make stuff happen instead of waiting for it to happen. Don't sit, just do and create.

Started doing my own analysis on the tournament scene on sendou.ink. First, I compare the base statistics. Total number of players competing, number of tournaments, average players per tournament, median players per tournament, and standard deviation. The lines are at april and august 2024

comp splatoon players begging to get third kits for content when we just had a forge pro, range, nautilus win a supermajor There’s content in the game if you just experiment outside of the 3 aggro weapons you consider doing a pickup with. Find other onetricks in the community, try new comps.

Not saying a lot of Low Ink players are goated, but I’ve seen several players that are miles above the rest, they just never get an opportunity to show what they are capable of on a roster with better players than they play with in skill capped events.

I'm late to this but a gripe of mine is even those who do stream don't upload their vods. You can literally directly export them from twitch to a vod channel 0 editing required instead of vanishing in like a month. Every streamer should have a vods channel top player or not.
