Kinda wonder how chaotic it would be for a server (like the 8s server) to grant “credits” if you play a match in the tier below, and playing a match in the tier above would cost credits. So if you’re T1 and wanna play a TX match, you have to have at least one credit from playing a T2 match.

For SQ map list how important it is that it balances out the maps at map list stage. Like I could balance out so that both teams get equal amount of "votes" and then it might be that the end result favors one team over other. This just would be an easy fix for the "default maps" problem Thoughts?

One of the neat things about Excalibur 8s is that I can see feedback for comp.splat.top. One of the weird things about it though is that a lot of the "I don't know why I was placed so low, look at my results" conveniently forgets their most damaging losses. I expected it, it's still weird to see.

You know... part of me wonders if I can use the algorithm for comp.splat.top to make a solo queue tournament. You queue up, get assigned your next match (including teammates), once all matches are done it assigns your next match, etc. Then at the end, player with the highest score wins.

Just as a precaution, it’s worth remembering that correlations are not causal relationships. Maybe XP and Div are related because better teams have stricter XP requirements. Maybe they’re both functions of free time. This doesn’t mean grinding XP will grant you a better div.
