Today is the unholy unity of Splatfest weekend and a significant tourney in which Splatfest tees are ban, where it’s extremely easy to make the mistake of starting a set with the tee on since players are hopping in and out of pb lobbies about 10-12 times in a 3 hour span. I’m just now seeing this picture, and I love this because you can tell it means something to these players. At the core it’s just a silly squid game, but anyone who has fallen short of a goal can connect with the emotion captured in this shot. It’s the beauty of competition.
