Eagerly awaiting my vinyl copy of Constant Companions Deluxe Edition hopefully arriving in November (fingers crossed!) It's still my personal album of the year. @jamies.page made a masterpiece and damn it, I want an oversized disc with grooves cut in it that screams, "I really like this album!"

I finally figured out the coaxial cable situation in the basement of my parents' house. Turns out we had the main internet line running through a 3-way splitter for literally no reason! Rerouted it, and now there's faster internet and more convenient router placement for ethernet access! #blutoid

I wanted to use MoCa adapters to turn the coaxial ports in my parents' house into essentially ethernet ports for devices. But it turns out there are no coaxial ports in the house. Instead, the basement has a series of coaxial splitters, and the cables are then fed up and through floors and walls. 😵‍💫

Playing Pokémon on the Analogue Pocket while lying in bed has been a much needed blast of nostalgia. Of course, a completely authentic experience would require no backlit screen, a dim, constantly flickering worm light, and no rom hacks. But that's a bit too much nostalgia for my taste. #blutoid

RIP to a great voice talent. "FIND THE COMPUTER ROOM!" was endlessly quoted by me after playing Shadow the Hedgehog years ago. He was the original voice of Gary Oak in Pokémon and later voiced Professor Oak, James, and Meowth from the 9th season of the anime onwards. #blutoid

I don't own too many records pressed with colored vinyl, so it's cool to own another one. This is Yutaka Mizutani's self-titled debut album from 1977. The first 50,000 customers got a blue vinyl and color poster. It's basically just folksy pop music. Nothing special, but pleasant. #blutoid

Recently picked up a Sony SEQ-50, an old 5-band graphic equalizer for Sony cassette Walkmans. It works pretty well, but it produces a low hiss while in use. I've ordered an impedence amplifier with the hopes it will alleviate the issue. #blutoid #cassette #Walkman

It's difficult to fully express just how much I love Hotel Dusk: Room 215. It is a visual novel masterpiece. Incredible characters. Engaging from beginning to end. Doesn't overstay its welcome. Very satisfying ending. If this gets a remake packaged with Secret of Cape West... #blutoid

There are those who will tell you that Sega Rally Championship is overrated. Those people are not to be trusted. This game whipped so hard in 1995 that it rid Japan of the "taboo" of rally racers, brought realistic driving on different surfaces to the fore of racer design, *and* still rules today.
