The only newsworthy aspect of Trump's emotions is how they show he is unfit and dangerous. If NYTimes wanted to center his emotions as the story, the headline is, "President Trump Continues To Unravel As Another Vanity Project Is Found To Be Illegal."

And worth noting that the politicians say 'trans' because they can't say f****t, but their supporters hear f****t. Because fundamentally all of this is crippling gender-insecurity from a bunch of oversized manchildren - the worst thing they can imagine, their terror, is being called 'not a man.'

Thought about this exact thing seeing the discourse coming out of Rs about Talarico, trying to appear masculine in everything you do is an extremely tiring exercise in futility and ultimately involves cutting other people down to appear tall. Learning to stand tall on your own is incredibly freeing.

watching the chuds turn literally everything into Gender at all times is so exhausting and stupid figuring out that You Don't Have To Do That is, I believe, the single most helpful realization a young man can make, it's such an enormous life improvement to just embrace what you actually like

Why in the absolute fuck have so many of you looked at the Tea Party, at Donald Trump and said, "yes, we need that from the left."? Have you seen what it's done to the GOP? You're not getting M4A out of this, so I can only imagine it's about destroying the Democratic Party. And the country.🙄

The regressive left really needs to sit with this. There are other progressives, other cis het white men in the race. But they're only comfortable with the rich one? Where was all the bravado about change, revolution, upending the system? It was all obviously nonsense.

The important thing to understand about Trump’s pathological narcissism is that he is truly fractured from objective reality. He does not live in the world we live in. He lives in a make-believe world he invents in his own mind and then tries to colonize everyone else into believing is real. 1/

While I think Democratic politicians could and should have more a "fuck it, we ball" attitude in many contexts, Medicare for All is a funny example here in that major reforms to our healthcare system necessarily will be enormously expensive, consensus-driven, full of tradeoffs, and delicate

A new Constitution would be good, but frankly the bigger issue is that our politics is deeply broken and I'm not sure any system fixes that. France and Britain have the systems we'd be most likely to move toward and...they aren't exactly killing it.

Medicare For All would be several orders of magnitude more complex than anything Trump has tried. Several orders of magnitude more expensive, too. Also, Trump *can't* just do whatever he wants! He's been shot down by the courts twice just today!

The things Trump has managed to do are mostly being stopped by the courts and/or are just him pulling copper wiring out of the walls. He can't even keep his name on the Kennedy Center, this is not a man bestriding the nation like a colossus.
