There are many, many people still viewing world events like today's through an ideological prism, as if the Trump regime has coherent or principled worldviews. The sane among us realize Trump could just as easily "capture" the Canadian Prime Minister next month, on a whim.

Abysmal statement from Canada on the illegal US action in Venezuela. It doesn’t matter how much you dislike Maduro, that doesn’t justify a violation of international law and the UN Charter. You can’t call on “all parties” to respect international law and not call out US lawlessness.

Long before the Toronto Blue Jays reached the World Series in 2025, or even won the title in 1992 and 1993, Canada had another world champion team. Back in 1877, the London Tecumsehs became Canada's first international interleague baseball champions. This is their story. 🧵 1/10

It is said that baseball is America's Pastime, but the first recorded baseball game in North American history happened north of their border. It was way back in 1838 when two teams came together in a cow pasture near present-day Beachville, Ontario. This is the story. 🧵 1/7

Here’s the original clip of Ronald Reagan from April 25, 1987, where he delivered a complete and total rebuke against tariffs. Trump's calling Reagan’s words here “FAKE” and “fraudulent.” They’re 100% real. And the original clip is actually far worse for Trump, as much is left out of the ad:

If you’re curious about UBI and what a guaranteed livable basic income could look like in Canada, UBI Works breaks it down clearly, including Bill S‑206, introduced by Senator Kim Pate on May 28, 2025, to create a national framework. Worth a read.

At this point, it is difficult to imagine ever entering the United States again in my lifetime. SCOTUS has done generational damage to the rule of law. Congress offers no resistance to a fascist regime. Trump's eventual defeat or death will not fix this, the entire GOP is evil. It's irreparable.

SCOTUS is savagely beating the corpse that was once the rule of law in America. Another key turning point in what is now unequivocally a fascist state to our south. If you go to the United States, you do not enjoy any rights.

Iran Worried U.S. Might Be Building 8,500th Nuclear Weapon
TEHRAN—Amidst mounting geopolitical tensions, Iranian officials said Wednesday they were increasingly concerned about the United States of America’s uranium-enrichment program, fearing the Western nation may soon be capable of producing its 8,500th nuclear weapon. "Our intelligence estimates indicate that, if it is allowed to progress with its aggressive nuclear program, the United States may soon possess its 8,500th atomic weapon capable of reaching Iran," said Iranian foreign minister Ali Akbar Salehi, adding that Americans have the fuel, the facilities, and "everything they need" to manufacture even more weapons-grade fissile material. "Obviously, the prospect of this happening is very distressing to Iran and all countries like Iran. After all, the United States is a volatile nation that’s proven it needs little provocation to attack anyone anywhere in the world whom it perceives to be a threat." Iranian intelligence experts also warned of the very real, and very frightening, possibility of the U.S. providing weapons and resources to a rogue third-party state such as Israel.

Yesterday David Lammy was unequivocal that Israel is breaking international law. Today No 10 contradicts that and says it is merely “at risk of breaching” the law. It is an extraordinary position to put the Foreign Secretary in - who will now have to say why he was wrong, or why No 10 is wrong.
