For those of you unaware, the Pondering Peasant, aka the Duke of Dorks, passed away two days ago. He helped out the channel a ton when I couldn't pick up the slack, and besides that he was a great friend to play games and just talk with. He will be dearly missed. Please seek help if you need it.

It’s wild to me that Donkey Kong Bananza has united 99% of the fandom at a time when it feels like no entertainment product or piece of popular culture has that ability. Even the most optimistic among us (huffing the copium, they claimed) expected EPD’s DK to hit THIS hard.

The joyful Bananza celebration continues! Nothing about K. Feast Layer is the sort of creative level archetype that, under developers less visionary than the Bananza team, would not show up until at least the sequel, in lieu of safer retreads. With just how much “meat” it has, it’s little wonder it stands out as so many people’s favorite, including mine.
