air riders improves a lot on the original but i think the way it handles the legendary parts is great. the ENTIRE map is made aware you have a piece once you get one and it just becomes a complete mad dash to get the person who has it before they can get anymore, it's complete insanity it's awesome

More slightly modern infrastructure in this game

i think there's a lot of reasons Air Riders has landed the best for me out of the kart racers of the year but i think the variety of things to do and meaningful things to unlock/work towards is a really great thing about it, characters/tracks/minigame modes are really fun to unlock
