I try my best to be a good listener to people who are bad at articulating themselves. You lose a lot of good ideas if you only pay attention to people who are good at speaking or good at writing.

My next Mothership project (not The Black Box, the one after that) is my first horror adventure where parts of it have been genuinely upsetting to write.

The best proof of the small and irrelevant nature of the TTRPG industry is that Bethesda, which has contented itself to re-re-release Skyrim in every conceivable form for the prior 15 years, has never licensed a Skyrim TTRPG (compatible with 5e, of course).

It's tough seeing every single freelance artist I know having the same "uhh I haven't had paying work or sales in weeks" posts, it's gotten extremely tough out there for us. If you have the means, please consider treating yourself to a commission or print or book from an artist you like, it helps!

When radioactivity was discovered, there was a rush to market for all sorts of radioactive consumer goods. There were water jugs made out of uranium glass, for example. I think about that a lot these days whenever I see AI products being marketed to consumers.

The Pitt is really really good but its a little preachy. Characters love to turn to the camera and explain the point of the scene to you.

Exploring some Dieselpunk these days. I’m trying to get more into drawing greasy machines and imaginary guns since I feel like this fits very well to the inky drawing style I use. Im probably going to look into Dieselpunk aircrafts next
