Writing a TTRPG rulebook for a game that has boardgame components has been a huge learning curve. My current approach is to break the rulebook into 3 parts: - Lessons (learn the game by reading before playing) - Tutorial (learn the game as you play the game) - Rules reference (find specific rules)
