As someone who pays for a monthly pass because I commute to work daily, I gotta say I see more fare inspectors than working fare payment machines on the bus. A single journey that require 2-3 buses, and sometimes NOT ONE tap clears. And it doesn't matter which bus (double deck, 40', 60', electric)

Hey @helps.octranspo.com, I should have clarified my issue. There is an active service alert on the website for the 90 detour; however, 90 Hurdman buses are only intermittently stopping at # 1569. It's a challenge to use transit when the alert doesn't match the reality at a stop #OCTranspo

My saga with OC Transpo continues. Skip ahead to the part where the feasibility will be determined "later". I try to be really patient because I know I personally don't have to execute every idea brought to me, but ughhhh it is becoming more Occasional for real #Ottawa #OCTranspo

The only thing it feels worthwhile for me to say right now is pay attention to whether your feelings & the information you’re absorbing are paralyzing you or prompting you to meaningful action, whatever that is. Paralysis helps no one but the enemy.

Hey @helps.octranspo.com, it's 7 degrees and these large sheets of ice are sliding further off the bus shelters at Hurdman. It is common for people to stand back there, it feels important to point these out again. And yes, I've called. Given I first mentioned it over a week ago, here we are.

I have noticed that when it comes to anti-Black racism, the ask is usually "let's minimize the impact because of the intent." In too many instances, Black pain, embarrassment, and dehumanization come at the expense of absolving white guilt.

Already submitted a ticket for this one, but photos always tell you the full story. The snow (now, likely ice) hanging over the back of the bus shelters at Hurdman extend several inches beyond the lip that appears made to prevent that. @helps.octranspo.com and yesterday was worse! (1/2)

Hi @octranspo.com / @helps.octranspo.com, with all of the 88 cancellations, you REALLY have to consider adding stop 1569 to the detour on the 90 Hurdman. It zips by nearly empty while we wait 20+ mins for a bus packed from door to door. This federal project is supposed to span several more months!
