Trying to design my own cross stitch and it's coming nicely and I'm please so far but I'm so frustrated at the same time. I imagine this is how designers often feel.

At goodwill I was able to score a nice frame, 4 complete diamond art kits, a Christmas bundt pan, peter pan original soundtrack on vinyl, and a 30 year old country sampler cross stitch featured below. Absolute score!

Today I was able to cross stitch 519 stitches, color complete 10 colors, and moved my project up almost 17% bringing it to 73.33% done. Almost caught up on the #lifeAtTheCottageSAL by Needlelot Designs.

Spending mother's Day weekend in the best way. Cross stitching alone in the house while everyone is outside, drinking wine and watching a new show (The Resident) and I have tiramisu for later. Exactly what I wanted 😂♥️

My best friend and only friend in my state/town/city/3 mile radius is moving an hour away and it might as well be 2 with traffic through the city and I'm devastated. Oh, and it's today they're moving because they got the date wrong. So no time to plan last goodbyes.

My husband and little gremlin are outside so I get alone/uninterrupted time inside cross stitching my Needlelot Designs SAL, listening to Halsey on my headphones, and having the cats on my shoulders. #thisismyhappyplace

My current WIP is in a nurge hoop and while my stitches look fantastic, it's taking me forever. As an in-hand stitcher, I'm use to a faster pace.

I get to drive 9 hours, visit 5 quilt shops, and spend time with my mother in law today and I'm so fucking excited.

Full moon stitch. 🌕 Technically a day late because I fell asleep early last night. Added 223 stitches, got to 50.48%, and color completed 4 colors during tonight's session so success! Pattern is Like a moth to flame by sprouting lupine.

Spent Easter with my mom's side of the family yesterday and my daughter, my 7 year old sister, and cousins kid got 7 Easter baskets each. Plus my sister hid 150 eggs for the 2 oldest. It was like Christmas.
