If youre a doctor or dentist or simmilar professional in 2025 and don't allow your patients to manage their own appointments online, lets be frank - you're straight up flushing money down the toilet. These systems are cheap - even free - to deploy. Get with the times.

Politics is not team sports. Good policy is good policy regardless of the source. Please for the love of all holy, teach your children this. The goal of politics is not supposed to be to "beat the other team no matter what", its supposed to be to improve quality of life for you and your neighbors.

One of the amazing side-effects of the AI revolution is that we are FINALLY going back to sharing information by text instead of the needless time-sucking YouTube videos for every topic. This is something I very much appreciate.

Interesting facts about the louvre heist: "The robbery took between six to seven minutes and was carried out by four people who were unarmed but who threatened the guards with angle grinders, the Paris prosecutor has said." So much for the"only criminals will have guns" arguments on gun control

Shot in the dark - does anyone know what IP reputation service Comcast / XFinity Xfi uses for their "Safebrowse" service? I know it is outsourced to a third party provider, but I can not figure out from my research exactly what provider. I just need to figure out who exactly to report this issue to

Hot take: ETFs are the root problem causing CEO to worker pay disparity. Pick any random Fortune 5000 company and 60%+ of the shares are going to be institutionally held. Individual shareholders have zero voice. We've collectively given it up to Blackrock and Vanguard in exchange for easy returns.

I find it weird that people are painting Mamdani as an extreme outsider. The US govt. has taken ownership positions in major US companies like Intel (and soon TikTok). Mamdani wants to open a city-run grocery store to sell cheap groceries. And you're telling me the second is a radical socialist.

This whole story is so wacky. If the US wants to spend their taxpayers money to import and house a bunch of diseased birds and put THEIR food supply at risk... who cares? Let them take that risk, not our problem. "Save" the birds...

I honestly don't have any issues with a 100K fee for an H1-B and think Canada should consider similar moves. If you REALLY NEED to bring in that labour, it's a small price that the company should easily pay. If you can't afford that but still want to bring in labour, then you need to reevaluate

Have never seen Canadians react to a US Ambassador like they do Pete Hoekstra. Usually most people would not even know who the US Ambassador was if you asked them, as opposed to now. This guy is just constantly saying all the wrong things, and doesn't seem to understand Canada at all.
