Immutable releases announced at GitHub Universe! Once tagged, releases can’t be changed. No more worrying about malicious actors swapping out assets or moving tags. Single-use version tags with signed attestations. This is the supply chain protection open source really needs 🔒

Trending again? If you want to check it out:
atcr.io
Im actively developing it, so expect bugs. New in the last week is support for manifest lists (aka multi-arch images). And cargo holds now have embedded PDS that handles permissions and notifications.

So instead of coming up with a solution to a government shutdown, they decided to take this time to create a bunch of official accounts that post AI slop?

Becoming increasingly clear we’re gonna have to build a parallel infrastructure for all the media we really love. The reason all of this is happening under the color of law is hyperconsolidation, dissent being traded straight up for merger approval, or fear of harassment.

We know very little about how cell-site simulators (CSS), devices that masquerade as legitimate cell-phone towers, are being deployed in the US or globally, but with Rayhunter, we hope to change that.

My Democratic colleagues and I just left the state of Texas to break quorum and stop Trump’s redistricting power grab. Trump is trying to rig the midterm elections right before our eyes. But first he’ll have to come through us. It’s time to fight back.

They won’t rush to help Texans in crisis. They won’t rush to fund our schools. But when it’s about keeping power? Texas Republicans drop everything. The people of Texas deserve better than this corrupt, cowardly process.

Look I am the most areligious person you can find but the replies to this are a great blocklist for insane people who have no theory of mind beyond their own beliefs. If your litmus test for a politician is never mentioning their religion in any capacity, you both stupid and boorish beyond belief.

In any serious court, this map would get laughed out of the room. It’s SO OBVIOUSLY gerrymandered! It’s not subtle at all. But because we live in the worst timeline imaginable, MAGA will have no problem pushing this through. Robbery, right in the open.

The issue isn't "both parties are the same", it's that everyone had to sit back and watch as their party funded a literal genocide, then got told they they had to vote for that again or way worse things will happen, and that caused a lot of otherwise-reasonable people to just check out.
