Hey yall I was just thinking about this and I would love if comp splatoon ppl would stop saying “curb stomped” to mean “beat really badly”. It’s just such horrifyingly violent thing and also heavily associated with white supremacist gangs and hate crimes. It kinda makes my skin crawl when I hear it.

The “real name” one would be devastating for trans people. Also could endanger anyone in a marginalized group. Besides that these all seem great.

I think the likelihood of xQc’s fans joining the comp splatoon scene is extremely low bc you have to buy a switch and a 4 year old $60 game. Idk about his audience specifically but I think most “mainstream” gamers aren’t into the switch. Idk I could be wrong but I think the discussion about if we ⬇️

Time and time again has shown me that just putting on top level matches and shooting the shit with people is peak fun. You all need to just watch more top level with your friends as just background noise like people do with bars and sports. You dont even need to pay attention #compsplatoon

I usually keep my opinions about people in my head but I want to give huge props to Jordan, Gos, and Noah. Right now I'm playing the easy thanos weapon so i'm shining a lot but I'm really proud to see these guys perform that well and I know that with or without me they'd succeed.
