We've shut the shop because it's 5pm and it's something of a tradition for us to shut the shop at 5pm even though it would be better for us to stay open until later because lots of people walk past at 5pm when they finish work but you have to draw the line somewhere, don't you?

All day I've been thinking it's December tomorrow because I was getting November mixed up in my head with February but I'm sure that's fine and everything's fine and there's nothing to worry about and stuff and it's fine.

Later on I've got three hours to myself. THREE HOURS! I've not had three hours to myself since about 1997. What shall I do? Maybe a nap.

I always have to cut a centimetre off the top of a pouch of microwaveable rice otherwise it doesn’t spin around nicely in the microwave and I’m not really sleeping very well at the moment and my fishes’ flakes are too big for their mouths. And there are other things too.

Took my car to get 2 new tyres because they were worn, and the man looked at them and said “Yeah, you’re gonna need two new tyres” and I said “OH REALLY, I THOUGHT THIS WAS A McDONALDS” not really I didn’t say that I said “yes, thank you” and then he fitted them and I went home.
