It finally happened. A huge storm hit Kotzebue. My dad's house is on the beach side of town. The water was so high that my cousin had to evacuate my dad. Neighbors front porch was washed away, and that before high tide. I am so glad my cousin was there. Please keep the town in your thoughts.
