What we’ve seen in other countries is the violence of the state is directly proportional to the weakness and, often, illegitimacy of the regime in power.

Just discovered an insane new form of co-intelligence where you briefly share the mind of a great thinker in history and then a portion of their mind travels in yours for the rest of your life. Calling it a "book."

There's Austen discourse and I don't need to add evidence to her greatness EXCEPT no one has observed: she offers the wittiest most biting funniest narrative voices ever to narrative voice. I mean, I am cackling!

This is actually a good example of why the customer model is wrong. I wouldn't have chosen poetry writing, but UNC made me take a class. And it absolutely made me become a much better writer, with an eye to concision and an ear now trained to the rhythm of words. I'm a better historian as a result.

So a big part of the Project 2025 goals hinges on forcing women out of the workforce. The Heritage Foundation knows that women voters hold the most power in terms of sheer numbers. If they can push you out of the workforce, they can push you out of your voting rights.

The Senate is still meeting and holding votes as normal despite the shutdown. The House has not held a vote in a month and a half now solely because Mike Johnson wants to prevent the release of the Epstein Files. They've killed our government to save their pedophiles.

When you publish a website that posts the names and photos of scholars who have written or said things you disagree with and encourage people to surveil and harass them, you are not, in fact, a “free speech” organization.
