Anyone else into Vampire Survivors? I've been meaning to properly play it after it won game of the year in 2024 (I think?). I'd given it a few tries, but it didn't click. That changed last week. It's definitely clicked now. Boy, what a game. WHAT a game. So simple yet so much depth and SO FUN.

This isn't a COYS rivalry; this is from a long-suffering referee/VAR watcher. How is this not a penalty? Does anyone know the reasoning behind it?

TIL when Spanish and Italian managers talk about “suffering”, they don't mean it in the same way we do in English (pain, torment, misery). Instead, sufrir or soffrire is closer to idioms of digging in or withstanding pressure. So when Conte went on about suffering, he just meant we had to be solid.

So, it turns out after 6 games against arguably worse opponents that our defense is slightly worse than last season and we’ve scored fewer goals. Still early days, but can we please stop saying as if it’s an unquestionable truth that we have improved?

Took another slide down the xPTS table. Were now 12th with 7.89pts, sandwiched between Leeds and Sunderland. These are predictive stats, remember. They tell us more about were we're headed rather than where we've been. Can't beat the odds forever, unfortunately.

My take is that Wolves were very lucky we didn’t score in the first half and if that Kudus shot off the bar goes in then we would’ve battered them.
