i’ve articulated this less tactfully in the past but the condescension i see directed at clair obscur feels like it’s overselling JRPGs as a genre a bit. what exactly is the standard this game is supposed to be falling short of?

The thing that's never sat with me re:criticism about Expedition 33 being "baby's first JRPG" is that the people who actually made the game couldn't be more consistently reverent about their influences.

my recommendation: - swap shot and morph ball, swap visor and missile - lower cursor deadzone to 3, even lower also works - crank up camera sensitivity enjoy glorious wiimote gaming

booted up prime 4 and can finally answer the REAL question on everybody’s mind: yes, you can use prime 3 style pointer controls and gradually adjust the camera deadzone, allowing you to completely remove it just like on wii. i’m gonna play the whole game like this
