Regulatory oversight of homeschooling making you uncomfortable doesn't mean you get to ignore abuse in your homeschool community. Educate children about abuse, make a child protection policy, interview a child protection professional—do something!

I'm feeling more and more uncomfortable using social media at all lately. Sad to hear this site is more of the same. I thought we might have something different.

Okay I gotta say something. I can no longer stay silent. Simplicity by @mattielubchansky.com was a great read! The art style was fun, the story was delightfully weird and sweet, and the message was very heartfelt. I only wish it had lasted me a little longer.

A reminder that multiple cybersecurity experts were consulted and all said they saw ZERO indication that scammers were targeting Palestinian mutual aid/donation fundraisers. It’s just assholes and racists, acting like racist assholes as they condemn Gazans to death for “clogging their timeline”

The worst part about the news about the national guard being deployed to DC is that I was raised evangelical Christian and surrounded by folks who loudly declared they would fight back against tyranny and a government who used force against its own people. Those people are absolutely silent rn.

The burger is a little too much for me :(

I cleaned the kitchen and made an extremely elaborate veggie burger. Now I get to clean the kitchen again. Life is good :)

In 2021 I was deep in a depression telling my therapist I felt like American society was collapsing but that it was probably all my childhood trauma. I think about that a lot these days.
