Finally a public health org is laying out the brutal truth: that every COVID infection increases your risk for permanent organ damage. That doesnât necessarily mean youâll experience it months after an infection, but years. Protect yourself & others. Wear a good mask where you can get or spread it.

Every Ontario age group I studied showed major reductions in health risks with approved covid vaccinations compared to getting infected. I've also read peer-reviewed studies that found the same for pregnant women. Decisions must be based on consensus scientific evidence, not politics or ideology.

Had my first healthcare worker refuse to mask for me. My chart is documented that Iâm immune compromised & require staff to mask. The facility had a policy that if asked, staff will wear. I was told âno I need to breathe to do my jobâ. I stood firm & said Iâm high risk and masks are required đ§ľ

Any of you seeing an uptick in invasive Strep like this one? Colleagues have had two cases/deaths in healthy young (30s-40s) people in the last month at our hospital. Incredibly tragic, and hard to detect/treat.

Weâve been led to believe that repeat Covid infections are: 1) inevitable 2) good for us & âbuilding immunityâ 3) mild unless youâre âvulnerableâ None of itâs true. A well fitted respirator offers excellent protection against COVID. Itâs virus soup out there. Sick of being sick? Mask up!

A reminder that when we characterize an infection as mild, we are referring to the acute phase. Recent studies have strongly emphasized that the long-term consequences are the most concerning and can have life-altering effects. Numerous more studies are forthcoming that are alarming.
