Encountered a man whose shirt says “assault rifle” and then proceeds to define the words but his shirt claims it is an adjective and I really just want to explain to this man that an assault rifle is a noun.

The book that changed my life, A HEAD FULL OF GHOSTS, is ten years old today. Ten??? I was once so innocent and naive, and tall. At least I’m still tall. I had the folks (mostly family and friends) sign MY book on release night. I kinda wish I kept that going.
