was so beautiful. This novel and Sketchasy are two stories where it would be so easy to find myself somewhere on their pages. I was blessed reading this novel during a time of grieving my first love and breaking from the last of my birth family. Pure magic <3

In my D&D campaign I'm amused (but also have sympathy) for our DM who is dropping plot hooks like crazy and my party is like 'Oh this authority figure is sus? We're going on a road trip!'

My landlord accused me of not actually breaking my foot when I fell on the back stairs. While I was wearing an aircast. After she helped me up to my apartment when I returned from the hospital on Sunday night. All because I asked if she could make the stairs safer.

The thing with designating a group that doesn't actually exist as a terrorist organization is that they can then say anyone they want is a part of that group.

I feel a lot of normies who don’t follow right-wing insanity honestly have no clue how extreme and repugnant Charlie Kirk’s views actually were, and so are swallowing wholesale the egregiously whitewashed version of him the media is presenting.

If you want to read a new book coming out but don't want to buy it, a great thing you can do is ask your local library to order it. The more requests they get, the more likely they are to acquire it and then lots of people will get to read it who othewise wouldn't.

Many communities are under attack and pressure. For trans people, my worries are not limited to the external — so easily the pervading hopelessness can turn us into a weapon against ourselves. Thinking so much about how to stop that, in addition to the external threats.

Hopelessness is really one of the most dangerous aspects of the current moment, no matter who you are. Without hope, we lose action. Without action, there can be no positive change. Without positive change, all may be lost.

David Lynch had a key role in my processing my childhood sexual abuse and many incidents of sexual assault. I watch the first season of Twin Peaks in its summer re-run in 1990 and the second season as it was released every week. I was 14 and I was given a language to help me understand my trauma.

I've had many friends texting me about David Lynch, and I just let my best friend know. She surprised me with a visit to my new home in 2003. We didn't have lights yet in the living room and I was on the floor watching Fire Walk With Me. I hit rewind and introduced her to Lynch's world <3

No more opera in art about gay men dying of AIDS, I would like to propose a ban on opera. But what if I didn't hate it, okay I didn't hate the opera. Now I can’t even remember that scene, which is a good thing, you should never remember the opera scene in a movie about gay men dying of AIDS.
