Yardwork day was mildly successful. Ended up doing a ton of cleaning in other parts of the inside of the house… plus laundry so it’s not like the day was a waste. Just need to hit some Rosenkavalier and Wagner to end the day after doing some weightlifting.

Side by side concert today. The entire youth orchestra low brass/trumpets showed up while the entire horn section except the principal didn’t show up. The horns aren’t living up to their stereotypes right now…

There are some BRSO with Jansons recordings where you listen to the entire thing and realize: “that was fucking live?” How did they pull off such witchcraft with Rosenkavalier, or whatever?
