Disabled people have potential that nondisabled people assume we don't. They also assume we can do things we can't and get angry when we can't overcome. In the end, assumptions just harm everyone.

The idea of having to overcome your disability to be seen as human is really gross, but it's something I have experienced. I've heard other disabled people say they have also experienced this, so I know I'm not alone.

You could actually structure your moral code around the idea that law enforcement doesn't exist to execute people. You don't have to create perfect victim narratives, you can just refuse to accept that the state gets to kill people.
