my theory on this is bc young new ppl to the fandom still have deep anxiety about being judged from spending crucial dvlpmntl years thru covid. they see furry as an aesthetic rather than a community and police it to fit their aesthetic standards/expectations in order 2 feel validated by non furries

I hate being stuck in a cycle where I try to reach out to people up in the PDX area but bc I am so far away most people don’t even bother even acknowledging me because they know I’m not worth the effort.

I think.. I need to like isolate until late fall to work some thing out in my brain, too much stress lately and not enough support. I find myself kind of struggling to thrive in high social situations where I’m not constantly overthinking myself.

Sometimes I really feel super pathetic because I am still so very affected by something that happened to me 22 yrs ago. I just have to remind myself daily that I’m not alone and there are probably so many my age who are dealing with this now. I just have to keep being strong and keep my head up

I saw my PCP for my chronic stress issue that has been causing my liver to fail, apparently there isn’t a cure for stress outside of stress management but I did end up getting a PATCH referral so my paws are crossed that something good comes of it

I hate feeling like I’d be more liked if I didn’t have bottom dysphoria, if I acted like how others expect me to be. Just feels so rotten reminding myself of this, I just wish for once in my chungus life that someone would genuinely be excited for me to top them.

You probably see pics of us like this and think "Oh! So ferocious, these creatures!" Those are yawns. We're yawning.
