The Scottish Tories dedicated themselves more to transphobia than anyone. They've been wrecked in Scotland, losing nearly two thirds of their seats. The Scottish Greens and LibDems stood in solidarity with trans people and doubled their seats. No major news outlet will comment on this dynamic.

My hot Star Wars take for today: In time, ANDOR will resolve into the primary text, and all the Star Wars stuff will end up like precursors mentioned in footnotes to critical editions. The original trilogy will probably endure as a curiosity, sort of like VARNEY THE VAMPIRE in relation to DRACULA.

True story: today in the cemetery a man walked up to me and asked if I was a ghost. Or was I human? He asked if I could see him. I laughed and said, yes, I could see him. He walked away but after a minute he looked back at me. I waved. He seemed reassured.
