Valve support say they won’t remove it because they don’t verify the accuracy of reviews, which is a disappointing cop out. I’d hope they’d trust me due to being a long term dev or let me prove it. Even if they could prod the original reviewer to read my reply would be helpful.

Listen I know things are Bad in the industry rn, and those feelings are very real and SHOULD be expressed. But don't get drunk on them! Don't sit around morose saying "something should change." DO SOMETHING. Start mentoring! Join a union! Get organizing! You gotta walk the walk, too!

Wirh the love hate art thing being talked about, my feelings is you should be open and honest with how you feel. Celebrate your highs and ask for help in your lows but don’t feel like you need to be a certain way based on what you perceive the standard of how an artist is ment to act.

I find this really interesting. Even if you don't despise genAI as much as I do, if you're making art, it doesn't matter how nuanced you think the conversation is, and these hosts are 100% right -- the medium is the message and if you touch genAI, you're cooked.
