I am very fond of the Jupp, though I would make a small change if this was a non-background ship. I would change the officer's lounge (seen here on the Refit) into a very small shuttlebay. It would probably hold either two shuttles or 1 + auxiliary support craft (such as a travel pod and workbee)

After several months, I'm back building rockets. Actually, painting them. The box art for the three-stage Microsonde has terribly difficult paint scheme no sane person would attempt, so of course I'm trying. The big rocket is the Maxi-Lepus, which was in a video in a post yesterday.

4) It is almost certainly NOT a play to mine the Moon because there is nothing worth mining on the Moon. No, Helium-3 isn't even close to worth mining on the Moon, and likely never will be because there are alternative production methods that work on Earth.

If the goal were to build *really* big structures in cislunar space, say, then mining lunar aluminum (which occurs all over the Moon) - as opposed to shipping it out of Earth's deep gravity well - might be reasonable. But that is a really long-term thing even if it somehow turns out to be desirable.

Thanks everyone looping me in on the Sean Duffy thing. Short response to various questions 1) Nuclear power for the Moon is not new. Look up e.g. Kilopower. 2) None of this clearly would violate international law. 3) It can be done very safely, and I suspect NASA would do it safely.
