NASA has finally confirmed that MAVEN is lost and not recoverable, months ago it emerged from behind Mars and a fragment of telemetry suggested it might be spinning fast. Sounds like there's no engine relight test, which in turn implies they won't proceed to an orbital mission on flight 13.

Yesterday I pointed out that the NTSB was accidently releasing cockpit audio in image format, less than 24 hours later they've closed the public docket system.

Testing the space shuttle for lightning attach points, I wonder if SpaceX did a similar thing for Starship.

The NTSB investigation into the UPS MD-11 crash last year has released a public docket with new information. The question we had was why the center engine failed to perform, and the evidence presented makes debris ingestion less likely. I think the hot gas from the wing fire was responsible.
