Currently missing from Glasgow’s transport plan. Car use remains unbridled. Excessive speeding is commonplace & goes unchecked a majority of the time. Congestion caused by cars (both moving & parked) makes our expensive public transport slow, unreliable & increasingly unviable.

Cities are so much better with less traffic. Finally visited Copenhagen for my 50th - 5 days of bliss by bike - seeing the sights, saunas, dining & shopping in a relaxed, friendly setting. Return to Glasgow & people on good salaries with huge SUVs moaning about paltry parking charges 😩 Wish I was ⬇️

Also sorely needed in Glasgow. The wait time at some junctions e.g. Byres Rd/ Dumbarton Rd, almost every junction on Waterloo St, is shocking. So also is the uber short crossing time at controlled crossings e.g. Danes Drive at Victoria Park.
