Here it is: Part 2 in my series about how I recovered from Long COVID PEM ✨ One of the most important things I did was use immune stimulants to clear persistent SARS-CoV-2 virus. However, these can be very rough on the body. Here’s what I did to stabilize my symptoms BEFORE treatment 👇

The Washington Post published a clear video of federal agents removing Alex Pretti's handgun moments before he was fatally shot. There's nothing in the video to suggest Pretti even reached for his weapon.

La Jolla researchers screened 56 small molecules and found a new class that binds ETF1, a host protein, to disrupt viral ribosomal frameshifting. These compounds blocked SARS-CoV-2, HIV, and other viruses without harming cells.

Study in the US with 172 participants. Slower viral clearance during COVID-19 increased long COVID risk, especially in women. Risk rose with more symptoms, like abdominal pain, nausea, and body aches. Early viral dynamics may explain long COVID.

it's fairly easy to acknowledge that polio is a terrible disease now because it hasn't been a real threat for decades. Polio only appears in period films. Meanwhile long covid is similarly destroying futures but the stories are not represented in popular culture and thinking about it scares people.

I would add that rejecting "viewpoint diversity" is the entire point of the academy. We evaluate the value of ideas, and drop charlatans claiming global warming isn't real, discrimination doesn't exist, or vaccines cause autism. They've lost in the "marketplace of ideas" so are rigging the game.

SARS-CoV-2 hijacks a cellular lipid (PI4P) in the Golgi to boost its replication. This disrupts cellular DNA damage response by activating the ATM kinase in the cytoplasm. Blocking ATM hinders viral replication, hinting at a new therapeutic strategy.
