New from me for @science.org: A major planetary science conference will require submitted abstracts to comply with Trump's anti-DEI executive orders. This conference, LPSC, is a big deal. It's been running since 1970 and is one of the biggest planetary science conferences out there. 🧪🔭

All of NIH funding to Northwestern University is frozen. This pause includes noncompeting approved funding, new and competing grants with fundable scores. No reimbursements for money already spent have been received since March. This situation is rarely reported so please Please get the word out!

Chicago State University is the only university in the state with a predominantly Black student body, and it has far less money than places like Northwestern University. So far, the school has lost about $5 million in federal grants.
