The love of my life hits a milestone birthday today. Our lives have gone in a vastly different direction than expected when we got married, and her patience and support are the foundation this campaign is built on.

We cannot whitewash the legacy of MLK, Jr. Today we remember the scope of his battle against racism in all its manifestations: from Jim Crow, to militarism, to his final battle: supporting Black sanitation workers in Memphis, striking against terrible and deeply racist working conditions.

The last three polls show the same thing: There is only one candidate who defeats Susan Collins.

Amy and I realize IVF isn’t a topic many people discuss publicly, let alone when you’re running for U.S. Senate. But our story of infertility is just one among many. We know we aren’t the only people struggling with this. And we don’t want anyone else to feel alone in it either.

The difference between Susan Collins and me is that I would do something about it.

We have all heard the disturbing news: ICE is very likely coming for Maine. We must protect our neighbors from authoritarian overreach, however we can.

The IVF clinic in New England wanted a $500 non-refundable fee to schedule a 15-minute Zoom call 6 months later. Amy emailed the clinic in Norway on a Monday. We had an hour-long intake that Thursday. And when we asked how much we owed, they looked at us genuinely puzzled.

How do we pay for Medicare for All? We already do. We spend more on healthcare than any country on Earth. And that money is stolen by health insurance CEOs. Medicare for All is a modest proposal to spend the money on healthcare instead.

Personal note. Last summer, when a handful of us in Maine started talking about what a Senate race would look like, I was very clear on one thing. This would ONLY be worth doing if we could build something greater and more enduring than one campaign.

Combine unqualified recruits, poor training, and legal impunity, and you get ICE: a weapon for presidents to terrorize and murder Americans. Yesterday's horror wasn't a mistake. It was inevitable.

When you send armed, under-trained amateurs into American communities with vague orders and no accountability, this is inevitable. ICE must be dismantled.

We just held an overflow rally to tax the rich and save our healthcare. In the richest country on earth, NOBODY should go without the care they need.

In FOUR DAYS, with 154 canvass launches across Maine, we gathered 6,176 signatures—blowing past the 2,000 needed by Day 3. We sent out almost 200 canvassers in a January 1 snowstorm. We are breaking Susan Collins's hold on Maine, one door at a time.

Started 2026 with a cold plunge in the ocean and ended it canvassing for petition signatures in a snowstorm with friends across Maine. After thousands of conversations, one thing’s clear: Mainers are done with Susan Collins and her bullshit.
