With a government shutdown ahead, and very little information beyond partisan finger pointing, we're not sure what happens tomorrow or how long it will last. In past shutdowns where parks have been kept open, there have been less rangers around to protect the resources (and stock tp in bathrooms).

Trump seems bent on eroding one of the country’s greatest achievements, a national park system open to all. As Wallace Stegner put it, the national parks are “absolutely American” and “the best idea we ever had.“ Will millions of Americans who cherish their parks allow Mr. Trump to destroy them?

The House is voting this week on Trump's budget proposal--which means, they're voting on whether or not it's okay to sell off public lands. We need to get loud and tell them we won't let them.
