If you, like me, are the parent of a neuro-atypical child dreading this autism press conference, please remember: These are the people hurting our kids. Not us. They are the ones stigmatizing and pathologizing them. They are the ones peddling untested science. And we should be very, very angry.

They have moms of autistic kids at this presser and not autistic adults speaking. Very unsurprising.

Disabled people aren’t “less than”. It’s not a moral failing. Most people will experience disability at some point. It’s a minority group you can join at any time. We need more accessibility, inclusion, accommodation and compassion. There’s no social justice without disability justice.

The federal workers who take care of our veterans, inspect our food, and help people through natural disasters know Trump’s lawlessness is hurting everyday Americans and they are begging Congress to stop it.

Today's ACIP 🤡 show had some wins, but the biggest loser was the American people because vaccine recs are fully in the hands of people who do not understand, or do not care, that every word of a rec has impacts on everyday people. Actions have consequences.

We have learned that the “official CDC account” on X has been live posting disinformation during ACIP. No one should get information from X. In fact, no one should go there. Nothing RFKJ’s clowns say should be taken at face value.
