Let's have a good talk.

Kaleb Horton was one of the writers whose qualities I was consistently chasing (and usually feeling like I failed to match) in my own work. Got to have a lovely lunch with him just once, right before I left LA. An extraordinary loss.

I donât have much to add that hasnât already been said by people closer to him but he captured the California that *I know and grew up with*, the desperation and beauty of the Central Valley, the dark corners and the bright lights- talented beyond belief and gone far too soon

The eye exam is the perfect game design. That big E is a great tutorial that teaches you the basic mechanic. But it doesn't baby you and quickly gets hard as they introduce the small and blurry enemies.

I understand that studios see more value in their stars cuddling puppies and doing their four favourites and getting nice portraits taken at film festivals than doing interviews with press who want to have a conversation about their work but it doesn't stop me wanting to stick my hand in a blender

An interesting thing about Silksong is the way that it combines elements of the classic Metroid and Castlevania games. Could this be the start of a new genre?
