It's early in the year but I can already tell that The Everlasting by Alix E. Harrow is the top contender for best book I'll read this year. Definitely my new go-to recommendation

I've been really liking this game despite its age. It's challenging, the story & dungeons are good, there are secrets to find & continuous growth. I love that Kain cackles a luxurious, evil laugh every time I defeat an enemy 😄
