That said, if you keep one calibrated device on hand, you can use that & then recalibrate it intermittently to ensure it doesn't drift (e.g., q 6 months). Of note, most automated devices don't lose their calibration unless the device is damaged (e.g., tubing develops a hole, cuff becomes frayed) 2/2
