Writing an RPG in layout means that I can look at each page and ask myself, "is there anything on here—words, paragraphs, visual hierarchy, structure, graphics, typography, tables, composition—that does not delight me?" If there is, something must change. This works very well in my weird brain.

It's very possible to do a lot with tab stops to create tabular info in layout, but there are some things I want to do that don't really work without actual tables (which in Affinity I neither love nor hate, now that I know how to use them). This is an Affinity table.
